Children and Families

With two young children of our own we understand the importance of keeping the young ones occupied on a family holiday. We have a large secure pool with sunbeds and umbrellas, there is also a childrens play area with a sand pit and a babyswing as well as plenty of space in the grounds. We also have chickens, ducks, a swan, dogs and cats!! Children are more than welcome to join us collecting eggs and have one for their breakfast, and feed the ducks. We have some books and a DVD player that you can take to your room and a small selection of DVDs that can be borrowed to keep the kids happy, there are some crayons, toys and games to also keep the little ones amused. We offer the option of all the children having an earlier child-friendly dinner together so the parents can pop them to bed and relax in the evening with the knowledge of knowing they are in rooms in the same house, and you are more than happy to bring a monitor to dinner with you. However, we also invite children to enjoy the evening experience, the parents have the choice.

For a small additional charge (we quote on request) we can provide a holiday pack to reduce your luggage load if you are flying; nappies, snacks, wipes, baby food, fruit, yoghurt, milk etc. Babies under 3 are free and we provide a free travel cot and linen.

We have highchairs, travel stair gate, bed guard, potty and trainer toilet seat for your use. In the kitchen there is a fridge exclusively for guests to use so you can purchase your own drinks and picnic food, and a microwave. Please ask us for family day out ideas!

Most rooms have space for cots, some for beds, and we have a family room or a suite with a double and twin next to one another.
