With two young children (5 and 8) of our own we understand the importance of keeping young ones occupied on a family holiday. We have a large well secured fenced and gated, heated, and local council lab checked, pool with easy access to the deeper area via a gentle slope and shallow steps that provides a shallow splash area, the basin shape allows you to walk right around the edge in the pool. There are two childrens play areas; one on the enclosed terrace wtih a slide, sandpit, wendyhouse, bikes, tractors, lawnmowers etc to keep little ones busy, and there is also a garden play area with swings including a babyswing, rope ladder, big slide with tower, rocker, and a giant trampoline and numerous other toys such as stilts and giant bricks; as well as plenty of space in the grounds. We have chickens, ducks, a swan, a very friendly dog and cats (not allowed in the building )!!
The lounge area is kitted out with a DVD player (with 42" plasma and surround sound) and we can lend you some DVDs and books to give parents and kids a well earned break! Rooms also have DVD players and flat screen TVs, and docking stations. There are crayons, books, toys and games to keep little and older ones amused when . Once a week (in high season) there is a kiddy workshop or opt for daytime babysiting for some pool time or nap at an additional charge. There is FREE WIFI too!
Children have an earlier child-friendly dinner together with their new friends whilst mum and dad have a well earned drink, then they can be popped to bed and parents can have some adult time in the evening with the knowledge they are tucked in just upstairs (just like at home), baby monitors welcome at dinner too! If you need it - we have it; from a changing mat with washable covers and toys and books, highchairs, travel stair gates, play mats, travel booster chairs to take to restaurants, toddler backpack for those non-pushchair friendly walks, dream tubes bed guards for our single beds, potties and trainer toilet seats, to steriliser, bottle warmers in every room, childrens/babies plates, cups and cutlery. In our working kitchen there is a microwave and a shared fridge exclusively for guests to use so you can store your own picnic food and snacks. We don't allow guests to cook...but you are on holiday afterall! If you are weaning however Abbi will help you prep your meals to take the stress away and provide freezer pots too.
Please ask us for family day out ideas or we can supply cool boxes/packs and essentials for your use on beautiful picnic days! We have a baby sling, bouncy chair, spare car seats and buggies, a foldup sun cot, play pen, baby walker and lots more...even emergency nappies, bibs and muslins! Milk is provided too!
We can provide a holiday pack to reduce your luggage load; nappies, wipes etc. we just get them for you and provide you the shop receipt with your final bill, no extra charge!
